Junior A V Blessington

On Tuesday 24th May we travelled to Blessington missing a lot of players through injuries and exams. We were well beaten by a very strong home team, 2.14 to 5pts. We did hit the uprights three times in the first ten minutes, when it looked easier to score goals. To compound our defeat, we lost Nicky Sweeny and Stephen Fox through injury which will keep them of action for at least a month. Team: Stephen Carton, Peter Walsh, Paul Barry, Enda Molloy, James Talbot, Cormac Martin, Daire Lohan, Eoin Mc Mahon, Rory Breslin,,(1pt), Niall Mc Cague,(1pt), Stephen Fox, Nicky Sweeney, Adam Conway, (2pts) John Walsh,(1pt), Shane O Sullivan, Tadgh Dornan.
