Dublin Adult Hurling league

29 March, 2015

The second match in the Dublin league turned out to be a much more one sided affair, with Bray winning on a score line of 4.16 to 6 points. St Marks from Tallaght came to Bray on Sunday morning and came up against a pretty determined bunch of players.
Padraig Doyle started in goal as he is looking to get back to full fitness after injury and kept his second clean sheet in a week, but it was our new kid on the block Eoin McCormack that got the ball rolling with a superb goal, lobbing the out coming goalie after beating two defenders, this was quickly followed by another from Liam Kenny and yet another by Cian O’Byrne, Bray were in total control of this game at half time leading 4.6 to 2 points, Liam Kenny having buried his second goal just before the whistle.
Daire Moloney was in great form at corner forward and scored six points from play, Daire Henderson and Ryan Tynan showed well at mid field, Enda McHugh played at full back with Harry Stephenson and Paul Barry (1) rock solid beside him, Lacey, Kiely (1) and Mick Walsh made up the half back line, and Nikki Sweeney, Eoin McCormack (1.3) Luke O’Reilly the half forwards, and then that leathal full forward line Cian O’Byrne (1.5) Liam Kenny (2.0) and Daire (Nasher) Moloney( 6).There were a number of changes made during the game with Lorcan Pratt, Craig Brack, Ronan O’Brien and Barry Cunningham all coming on to play there part.
Next match is in two weeks time.
