13 July, 2013

The senior hurlers travelled to Arklow on Saturday evening to face county champions Glenealy in the next round of the Senior Hurling Championship. This was a tight affair from the start played with passion throughout. Glenealy opened their account with a 65 but two frees from Mickey Lee put the Bray men ahead.  It was a tight affair throughout the first half with another free converted from Lee and a well taken score from Christy Moorehouse. Before the break Emmets also suffered a huge loss loosing Eoin Mason to injury.  However, heads did not drop and they emerged defiant after the half time break.  Some vital scores from frees from Lee early in the second half brought Bray back into it and drew level once again.  Glenealy pulled away in the last ten minutes taking some vital scores from frees.
