Mason points the way to big win for the senior Hurlers

Bray Emmets 4-18  Arklow Rocks 0-4

Senior hurlers brush Arklow Rocks aside in a very one sided affair last Saturday in Arkow. Three goals from Christy Moorehouse, 1.3 from Gearoid O'murchu,  three points from Eoin Mason and 9 points for Mickey Lee, sees us through to a final match decider with Glenealy on 8th of September, for a place in the semi final. Ed Keating received a bad injury to his thumb and will most likely miss the next couple of matches, Ronan O'Brien return from a long injury to take up the full forward position and made a good contribution, slowly but surely we are coming to the point of having a full panel to pick from.

Liam Kenny is making great progress and no doubt he will strengthen things even more when he gets fully fit. Once again four or five of our younger lads were given a chance to show what they can do, Daire Lohan, Enda Molloy, Lukie Maloney and older brother Darragh who returned from the states, made huge impact of the game. Arklow certainly didn't help themselves by getting two players sent off in the first ten minutes of this game and by half time the game was over as a contest. The final score 4.18 to 4 points.
