Bray Emmets vs Arklow On Saturday 3rd September, the Adult Camogie team played Arklow in the Junior Final  in the County Grounds in Aughrim.On what was a very wet  morning in Aughrim.The throw in was 11.30am so an early start. We dominated the game throughout with fantastic performances from all the girls.The final score was 8.7 to 0.2.Our first touch and movement showed the amount of work the girls have put in over the last two months.This win now moves us into the Interimediate Grade. The team on the day .Sophie Mooney, Emma Davis, Brona Murphy, Emily Stephenson, Vicki Crimmins, Lauren Sweeney, Nicola Holland, Sabdha Eglington, Niamh McCormack, Coaimhe Lohan, Roisin Quigley, Capt,Jenny,  Molloy, Aoife Connaughton, Kellie Gilbert, Clare Holland, Kellie Waters, Amy Barry, Ericka Bellamy, Claire Benville. Scorers Kellie Gilbert 5 goals, Clare Holland 1.1,Aoife Connaughton 1pt,Coaimhe Lohan 3pts, Amy Barry 1g,Kelly Waters 1g,Niamh McCormack 2pts. A big thanks to all our Supporters on what was a dreadful morning but brightened up by a great performance....

Camogie Junior Championship

The Bray Emmets Adult Camogie team played the first round of the Junior Championship tonight in Pairc Emmet Bhré. On what was a warm and sultry evening, the game got off to a good start with a point from play for Caoimhe Lohan. Numerous scores followed for Bray as the forward line was kept well supplied and Kelly Gilbert found the net several times. Claire Holland supplemented with a goal of her own and Niamh McCormack scored a point. The Annacurra girls battled hard but failed to get past goalie Sophie Mooney and a stalwart defense during the first half.The second half opened with another excellent score from Kelly Gilbert. Annacurra countered with a goal of their own. The Bray girls went on to score a number of points and another goal.Although Annacurra succeeded in battling on to get another goal,it wasn't to be their night and the final score read Bray 11 g 9p , Annacurra 2 goals.Well done girls- a fine display of hurling skills and excellent teamwork!!
