Junior's get points on the board

5 April, 2013

Bray Emmets recorded their first victory in Division 3 of the County League when they carved out a hard fought win over Kilbride at Páirc Emmet Bhré on Friday, 5th April. The visitors enjoyed much of the early pressure resulting in Bray having to work much harder for their scores. The boot of Conor Flannery from frees (0-2) kept Emmets in touch before the same player raised a badly needed green flag. This was quickly followed by a Ray Lambe goal which meant the sides went in at half time 2-2 to 0-6. Bray took control in the second half and held off a strong Kilbride late surge to win 2-8 to 1-8.
Hard work was evident all over the pitch with Alan Corr, Oisin O'hAnnaidh and Conor Flannery impressing most. Best wishes to Conor who was carried off before the end of the game with a recurring injury. We wish him a speedy recovery.
