Junior Hurlers take local derby

8 May, 2013

Éire Óg also provided the opposition when our Junior Hurlers travelled to Greystones for a competitive and lively game played on Wednesday, 8th May. In the first-half, there was some commanding goal-mouth work from Peter O’Reilly while Karl Lacey kept the scoreboard gently humming. At half-time, the sides were level but Bray had lost out on more of the one-to-one duels.
A rejuvenated outfit began the second-half with more purpose. Brian Duggan found the net, with points following from Liam Kenny, Tom Cash and Jim Doyle. Michael Walsh and Craig Brack-Synott also made considerable contributions. Beidh Carn an Bhua i bPáirc Emmet Bhré Dé Céadaoin beag seo. Final score: Emmet Bhré 2-17 Éire Óg 1-7.
