Junior Hurlers loose out to Avondale

29 May, 2013

The Junior Hurlers travelled to Avondale on Wednesday night, 29th May for their eagerly awaited league tie. Avondale were well organised and powerful giving Bray a headache from the start. Peter O'Reilly was tidy in goal and Enda Ó Maolmhuaidh worked hard along his flank. The score of the half was a long range effort from Shane Anders. In the second-half, another minor player Seán Maloney made an accomplished Junior début. Seán is the fourth Maloney to play for this adult team. Paul Barry tried hard, while Willy Nolan's efforts culminated in a fine score. Ultimately however, Avondale were worthy winners.  Beidh lá eile ag iománaithe Emmet Bhré.
