Junior Hurlers go down to Kiltegan
13 June, 2012
The junior hurlers made the long journey down to Kiltegan
Wednesday night. Bray were missing some key spinal players through
exams and injury yet gave a full-effort nevertheless. The early
running was done by Bray and those breaks in play landed a point
for Brian Lambe. The high point of the half was an excellent
groundstroke from the lively Cathal Ó Dúlacháin finding its way
into the Kiltegan netting.
At midfield, Ryan Tynan and in the half-back line Jordan
Lee and Billy Brazil stood out. In the second-half, young Shane
Anders showed his quality along with the ever-green John Ward and
his ' C'mon, encourage eachother' mantra. Kiltegan had the better
of the second-half, having the fitness and player pedigree on the
men from Brí Chualann. Táimid ag imirt in aghaidh Ghleann Fhaidhle
sa chéad chluiche eile i bPáirc Emmet Bhré.
