Junior hurlers loose by the bare minimum

16 May, 2012

They were unlucky to lose by a point to Eire Óg Greystones on Wednesday night and are out again next week hoping for a win against Avoca on Wednesday the 23rd May. A minutes silence was observed at the start of the game as a mark of respect to the family of Brian Culleton.

The Junior hurlers suffered the narrowest of one point defeats Wednesday last. Despite second-half goals from Craig Brack, John Ward and Dara Maloney, Bray Emmets could not clinch the fixture from a never-say-die opposition. Eoin Mason gave a powerful display in the midfield, but a final Eire Óg free sealed the game for Na Clocha Liatha. Támid ag imirt in aghaidh Abhóca i bPáirc Emmet Bhré sa chéad chluiche eile.
