Junior Hurling V Enniskerry/Kilmac

31 August, 2010

Enniskerry/Kilmac     2 - 11

Emmet Bhré              0 - 11

The junior hurlers played their championship semi-final last Tuesday in Eire Og. The game got off to a brisk start with the spine of the Bray team, Tadhg O Broin and Danny Eglington having to use experience and strength. Cillian O Maolmhuaidh showed well and target-man Collie Browne got the early vital scores. At half-time, the two sides were level. However, 10 minutes in to the second half, the game was decided by 2 well-taken Enniskerry goals. Despite shots on goal by Nicky Sweeney, the dye had been cast. Enniskerry remained strong to the final whistle. The Junior players would like to thank our manager, Kieran Delaney, for his generosity and loyalty to the team this season. Tá súil againn go mbeidh sé linn arís an samhradh seo chugainn.
