This junior hurling fixture was a tightly contested first-half duel, with the Enniskerry outfit doing the early running, scoring from play and finding the net. Without the industry of Billy Brazil and Danny Eglinton and the spirit of the evergreen Mick Byrne, the game would have been well out of sight by tea break. Enter Kieran Delaney, with the wisdom of the ages. The effects were immediate. Bray played a far tidier second-half style, limiting the impact of the influential Snowy and allowing the talented Paddy Lee find the net 3 times. Pádraig Nolan, Tommy Hamill and Declan Glynn also contributed important scores of their own. The displays of young players, Harry Stephenson and Aaron Murphy were equally worthy of mention. Manager Dan Phelan highly complimented the graft of all 19 players, as did the gracious Enniskerry Manager, Mick Priest Senior.
